Baj ez? Ugye nem? Ez a vándortémák sorsa.
Számtalan színházi, filmes, televíziós, változat mutatja, hogy az emberek képzeletét újra és újra megragadja a téma. Mi lehet ennek az oka? Talán az, hogy a kelet világa csodálatos, varázslatos távoli és misztikus? Lehet… bár szerintem ott is az emberek érdekesek a leginkább. Miért? Mert mi magunk is azon vagyunk…ezért tudunk azonosulni…mármint Aladdinékkal…drukkolunk értük vagy ellenük, és elhisszük őket másfél órára saját magunkként. (Kszel Attila)

Bartók Béla’s two highly influential stage works explore the dynamics of the relationship between man and woman and the deeper layers of their personalities, as presented by creators who, through a fusion of tradition and innovation, reveal the possibilities inherent in these works for 21st-century audiences.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
