Egy est, amelyben Kosztolányi Dezső művei kelnek életre különleges formában: szöveg, zene és báb találkozásában. A klasszikus és kevésbé ismert írásokból szőtt válogatás játékosan, mégis mélyen vezet végig élet és halál kérdésein, a szülő–gyermek kapcsolat rétegein, a háború és béke feszültségein, emberi és létkérdéseken.
A művek közt szerepelnek többek között: Hajnali részegség, Halotti beszéd, Mostan színes tintákról álmodom, Tíz legszebb szó, A nyelvről, valamint részlet Shakespeare Rómeó és Júlia című művéből Kosztolányi fordításában.
A szövegekhez fuvola, hárfa, ütőhangszerek és elektronikus zene társulnak, valamint egy báb, amely egyszerre idézi meg a játék és a költészet varázsát.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
