A föltámadás szomorúsága című összeállításról ő maga így vall: ,,Nem Ady-körképet szeretnék adni, hanem azokat a verseket mondom el, amelyekben válaszokat találtam a saját problémáimra. Ezekben a versekben megmutatkozik az útja végéhez közeledő férfi nem lankadó felelősségű, harcos, ostorozó hazaszeretete Európa közepén, viszonya a múlthoz, a történelemhez, sorstársaihoz, a Nyugathoz, valamint hálás emlékezése az elmúlt szerelmekre, álmokra és reményekre.” A 2014 áprilisában bemutatott előadást Vidnyánszky Attila rendezte, a zenei aláfestést Fekete-Kovács Kornélnak köszönhetjük.
A Nemzeti Színház magazinjában a premier előtt megjelent, Hobóval készített interjúban a művész úgy fogalmaz, hogy ,,felkorbácsoló felfedezések” voltak számára Ady versei és publicisztikái. ,,Tudom, érzem, milyen elképesztő szellemi energiák mozgatták Adynak, Pilinszkynek, József Attilának a kezét. Olyan rálátás van verseikben az életre, amivel én nem rendelkezem – mondja Hobo. – Mankót kaptam Adytól, aki segít átgondolni, sőt elviselni a saját koromat.”
Az előadóesten harmincegy Ady-költemény hangzik el, ebből tíz megzenésített versként, mások zenei aláfestéssel, s lesznek ,,önmagukban” megszólalók is. Az összeállításban helyet kap a Poéta és publikum című, máig érvényes publicisztika is.

There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
