In paintings about Christmas, angels singing and playing festive music is a recurring theme. The aptly named Angelica Girls' Choir, who are led by Zsuzsanna Gráf, and help nurture the legacy of Kodály and Bartók, have captivated Müpa Budapest audiences on several occasions. It also not the first time that we will celebrate the festive season with the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra. Under the artistic leadership of István Várdai, the orchestra has now entered its seventh decade. This year's concert will be a genuine delight for all lovers of choral music and chamber orchestras. The soloist for the two ensembles will be the soprano Ágnes Kovács.

Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
