Reményünk, hogy a Nemzeti Színház nyolcvanas években játszott nagysikerű előadásának szellemi nyomvonalát követve, a Békéscsabai Jókai Színház „szerelemgyermekét” is a szívébe zárja a közönség. Fájdalmas megtapasztalni, hogy a darab mélyén meghúzódó társadalmi, emberi gondok a mai napig is döbbenetesen, tragikusan időszerűek…És – nem csak a határainkon túl…
Our offer
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
János Hunyadi is responsible for the tolling of bells around the world; Mátyás Hunyadi is the hero of a string of folk tales; László Hunyadi inspired “only” an opera.
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes. The piano afternoons and matinees are for them, about them, and inspired by them.
