„Ezúttal a magyar népzene és a jazz muzsika jeles előadóművészei, Balogh Kálmán és Dresch Mihály mellett a színházi művészet egy kiemelkedő alakját, Őze Áront hívom vendégemül.
A magyar népzene lelket melengető, éltető ereje és a magyar költők életünk meghatározó fordulópontjairól – örömről, bánatról, szerelemről és halálról – legtalálóbban megfogalmazott igazságai segítenek majd a hallgatóságnak megérteni a költészet és a zene egyfajta sajátos kapcsolatát.
Az est során József Attila, Márai Sándor, Radnóti Miklós, Kosztolányi Dezső és Dsida Jenő verseit szeretném ötvözni a népzene, valamint a kortárs zene sajátos ízeivel. Úgy gondolom, hogy a különböző műfajok sajátos elegyítése lehetőséget teremt egy egyedülálló, sokszínű produkció létrehozására.”
Csík János

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
