Ezer mesében indul így egy gyermek a nagyvilágba, az életbe egy tarisznyával, amelyet az édesanyja tömött meg ennivalóval. Ábelnek azonban ravasznak kell lennie, hogy meg tudjon állni a viharos erdőben, melybe az élet kézen fogva fölvezette. Meg kell tanulnia, hogy túljárjon az emberek eszén, és még inkább meg kell tanulnia, hogy a tréfa édes ízével vonja be azokat a dolgokat, melyek máskülönben nagyon is keserűek volnának. Mert ott is, a havasok magányában is megjelenik a pénz, a hatalom, a törvény, az egyház, no meg a szerelem…

Georges Bizet CARMEN Opera in four acts, in French, with Hungarian, English, and French subtitles
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
