A Vörös Pimpernel - musical

A darab, amely 25 betétdal keretében meséli el Percy Blakeney angol lord és a csodás szépségű Marguerite St Just megigéző szerelmi történetét, az utolsó pillanatig titokban tartja a púpos, Grappin és a Vörös Pimpernel kilétét, egyben izgalmas kémtörténet, szövevényes mese, tragikus és komikus jelenetekkel átszőtt egész estés családi kikapcsolódás.

Vörös Pimpernel - Musical

A Musical Színház valamint a közel 200 éves Szolnoki Szigligeti színház legnagyobb volumenű vállalkozásának számít a Nan Knighton (szövegkönyv) és Frank Wildhorn (zene) Broadway musicalje, amelyet ezúttal a soproni közönség is láthat. Az MKB ARÉNA 500 (!) négyzetméternyi, minden korábbinál hatalmasabb, monumentális színpadán, Orczy Emma világhírű regénye nyomán, 21 fantasztikus jelenetből álló produkció során kel életre a francia forradalom idején játszódó Vörös Pimpernel története.

A darab, amely 25 betétdal keretében meséli el Percy Blakeney (a Vörös Pimernel) angol lord (Csengery Attila) és a csodás szépségű Marguerite St Just (Koós Réka) megigéző szerelmi történetét, az utolsó pillanatig titokban tartja a púpos, Grappin és a Vörös Pimpernel kilétét, egyben izgalmas kémtörténet, szövevényes mese, tragikus és komikus jelenetekkel átszőtt egész estés családi kikapcsolódás.

Our offer

“I've captured a terrific storm of elements and of hearts which gradually calms to Brünnhilde's magic sleep,” Wagner on the score of Die Walküre, in a letter to Ferenc Liszt. Following on the heels of the introductory Das Rheingold, this opera about the tragic love between two of Wotan's children constitutes the start of the more tightly drawn dramatic trilogy. Once again, the laws of the gods clash: can paternal love save a lad who has violated the sanctity of marriage?

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.

There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
