A lélek, „ragyogásnak” különleges erejét mutatja meg ez a mese. A királyfinak és új kedvesének, meg kell küzdeniük a boszorkányok ármányságával, hazugságaival és gonosz tetteivel, hogy végül elnyerjék az örök boldogságot. De a tiszta szeretet ereje, az őszinteség képes legyőzni minden ártó szándékot.
