Aligha kaphat egy zeneszerző nagyobb és nehezebb feladatot a Genezis megzenésítésénél: hogyan is lehetne kottafejekkel ábrázolni a világ teremtését? Úgy tudjuk: Händel számára készült az eredetileg angol nyelvű szövegkönyv (Milton Elveszett paradicsoma nyomán), amely a zenerajongó bécsi arisztokrata, Gottfried van Swieten német fordításában végül Haydn íróasztalán kötött ki, hogy alapjává legyen az oratórium-műfaj egyik legnagyobb remekének. A Teremtés 1798-as diadalmas sikerű bemutatója kétséget kizáróan bizonyította: valóban létre lehet hozni a világot hangokból… Haydn nagy műve kiváló énekművészek vendégszereplésével, a Wien Vocal kórus és a Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar előadásában a Loyolai Szent Ignác Bencés Templomban csendül fel, Rajna Martin vezényletével.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
