Az eltorzult arcú „alvilági herceg” kénytelen volt visszavonulni, magányában csak egy régi cimbora tartott ki mellette, ő is csak a külföldi bankszámlákon elrejtett pénzek reményében. Eddig az igaz történet. Pozsgai Zsolt továbbgondolta ezt a helyzetet és a megtörtént eset alapján továbbszőtte azt. Így került bele egy idióta, öreg házmester, egy nagypofájú takarítónő – és egy tündéri szép erdélyi fiatal lány, aki munka reményében érkezik a magyar fővárosba. A „Szörny” rákényszerül arra, hogy kiadja egyik szobáját albérletbe, ide érkezik meg a kis Kriszta, akit nem érdekel a „herceg” kinézete, mindenkit szeretni és érteni akar…Hogyne szövődne köztük emberi kapcsolat, amely azonban nem feltétlenül úgy alakul, mint a mesében…

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
