A király azon tépelődött, hogy legkisebb leánya Katinka kívánságát bizony nem tudja teljesíteni, mikor is hintója beleragadt a sárba. A disznócska ugyan segített a királyon, de cserébe elvitte magával Katinkát. Hát búsulhatnánk, de még se, mert a disznócska királyfivá változott. Azonban csak ez után jöttek az igazi bonyodalmak!
