A koncerten egy ritkán hallható Beethoven nyitány, ezt követően népszerű és szívesen hallgatott nagyzenekari művek szólalnak meg, a legismertebb francia opera és a legtöbbször előadott orosz balett rövidített szvit változata. Emellett felcsendül Schubert egyik legszebb szimfóniájának részlete és legromantikusabb dala. A karácsonyi hangulatról egy meglepetés produkció gondoskodik.
