Arról is szól, amire gondolnál. Az éhezőkről. De nem csak azokról, akiknek nem jut, hanem azokról is, akik önként választják az éhezést: tiltakozásul (éhségsztrájkolók), testképzavarból (anorexiások) vagy ezoterikus vallási meggyőződésből (fényevők).
Étkezési zavarokkal csak a jóléti társadalmak küzdenek: akiknek minden falatért meg kell küzdeniük, azok nem engedhetik meg maguknak e betegség luxusát. De ettől még belehalhat ugyanúgy az anorexiás is, ahogy az ép ésszel még kevésbé felfogható fényevő vagy a sokkal inkább belátható éhségsztrájkoló is.
Egy-egy felvonás egy-egy történet minden oldalról körüljárva. Kórus mesél a többiről.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
Bartók Béla’s two highly influential stage works explore the dynamics of the relationship between man and woman and the deeper layers of their personalities, as presented by creators who, through a fusion of tradition and innovation, reveal the possibilities inherent in these works for 21st-century audiences.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
