A klasszikus zenés játékban mesés elemek, csodák, időutazások, szellemek és az ő kedves játékaik kísérik azt a történetet, melyben mában élő hőseink ármányok, féltékenységek, kicsinyességek, gyanúsítgatások, bűnözők, rendőrök, házmesterek szorításában próbálnak egymásra, azaz boldogságra találni. Mindezt Horváth Péter szellemes librettójában, Presser Gábor és Dusán Sztevanovity szinte kivétel nélkül slágerré vált dalaival élik meg.
