Az előadás bemutatja ennek a különleges ételnek az útját, avagy a gyomor csodálatos életét a honfoglalástól napjainkig, sok humorral, szórakoztató fordulatokkal és zenés betétekkel.
A pacal felbukkan már a hét vezér körül, feltűnik nyüzsgő piacokon, majd bírósági tárgyaláson, a török birodalomban, később börtöncellában, végül mozgalmas és fordulatos 20. századi pillanatképekben.
Hiszen hosszú élete során a pacal gyakran került fel előkelőségek fejedelmi asztalára, szolgált szegények eledeléül, de volt kutyák vacsorája, sőt a 19. században használták még büntetésvégrehajtási segédeszközként is.
Talán nem véletlen, hogy mindig is megosztó volt: vagy nagyon szerették, vagy nagyon utálták, de kevesen maradtak iránta közömbösek.

Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
