Azt a láthatatlan szervezőerőt amely a legrégebbi időkben az emberiség fennmaradásának egyik legfontosabb feltétele volt egymás szájáról lesni a szót, egymás mozdulatait figyelve megtanulni táncait, átörökítve a hagyományt.
Napjainkban világszerte nő az érdeklődés a hagyomány ismerete után, ahol még természetközelibb, egészségesebb, az egyén szerepét jobban érvényre juttató élet élhető. A Magyar Falu c. táncprodukció , mely a Balassi Intézet felkérésére készült, a Smithsonian Folklife Festival szabadtéri, népművészeti és hagyományőrző fesztiválján mutatkozott be múlt nyáron Washingtonban, több százezer néző előtt, nagy sikerrel.

János Hunyadi is responsible for the tolling of bells around the world; Mátyás Hunyadi is the hero of a string of folk tales; László Hunyadi inspired “only” an opera.
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team.
