A Macskalápon – bármily megrendítő is a történet – nemcsak mellbeverő és torokszorító, de pillanatokra mulattató is tud lenni. A Macskalápon mai közegbe helyezett sorstragédia, tulajdonképpen kortárs Médeia-variáció, amelyben – ahogy ír színpadon illik – a túlvilág és a borongós tündérmesék sejtelmes alakjai halálos természetességgel járnak-kelnek még az élők között.
