A 2016 óta Tfirst Péter által vezetett együttes évről évre a világ legjelentősebb koncerttermeiben, elsőrangú szólisták közreműködésével lép színpadra, akik a nagyfokú precizitás, műfaji sokoldalúság és alkalmazkodóképesség miatt előszeretettel dolgoznak együtt a zenekarral.
2018. január 3-án Meláth Andrea Liszt Ferenc-díjas operaénekesnővel adnak újévi koncertet a Pesti Vigadó Dísztermében.
Our offer
As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.

Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
