Ehelyett az idill helyett egy igazi bűntény színterén találják magukat: Massimo Ardizzone-t, a gazdag iparmágnást meggyilkolták. Csak a nyomozó tanoncok segíthetnek DeAngelis felügyelőnek a bonyolult ügy megoldásában, hogy fény derüljön a titokra.
