Az irodalmi Nobel-díjas Maurice Maeterlinck leghíresebb darabja: A kék madár.
E lírai szépségű mesejáték két főhőse: Mytyl és Tyltyl, a favágó két gyermeke, akik útnak indulnak, hogy megleljék a titokzatos kék madarat. Kalandjaik különös tájakon át vezetnek, ahol a Fény segíti az útjukat. Vándorlásuk során a múltba, az éjszaka birodalmába, a rengeteg erdőbe, a boldogságok kertjébe és végül a jövő birodalmába jutnak. A kérdés csak az, hogy meglelik-e a boldogság kék madarát, és felismerik-e, ha végre megtalálják?

Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
A Streetcar Named Desire is Marianna Venekei's first full-length choreography. The project, lovingly nurtured for many years, is a collaboration between her and composer-saxophonist László Dés.
