Az alkotók – még a valóságshow-k megjelenését megelőző boldog békeidőkben, 1998-ban - hosszú hónapokon keresztül járták a városi kisember mindennapi életének tereit, és az ott gyűjtött beszélgetések, történetek alapján készült el az előadás. Vagyis esetükben igaz a megállapítás: a jeleneteket az élet írta. A próbák során a szövegek csupán dramaturgiailag kerültek átfésülésre. A végeredmény: könnyfakasztóan mulatságos életképek Közép- Európa legközepéből.

Our offer
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
