Pávaszem, Jégapó fejedelem álmodozó lánya Ukkonvárban él, és minden földi kérőt visszautasít, mert az elérhetetlen Holdbeli csónakosba szerelmes. Hiába verseng a kezéért a kínai császár és a sumér király, a királykisasszony megszökik a palotából. Segítői Vitéz László, Paprika Jancsi és Bolond Istók, a hűséges Medvefia királyfi pedig apródként követi. Mesés és valódi országokon, furcsa népeken és megpróbáltatásokon át vezet az útjuk, míg Pávaszem végül ráébred, hogy nem az álomvilágban, hanem csakis Medvefia királyfi oldalán találhatja meg a boldogságot.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
Pairing the two German composers, Wagner and the Wagnerian Strauss in a single evening creates a sweeping and overwhelming fusion of expansive melodies and driving dramatic force. The encounter between Wagner’s mythical intensity and Strauss’s modernism is a dialogue between two musical giants who reshaped not only German but also international musical life. In the performance of the OPERA Orchestra, their compositions promise deep emotions, dense musical textures, and sonic grandeur.
