Nem találkoztak a negyven év alatt, egyikük a trópusokon katonáskodott, a másik a katonai szolgálat letelte után ült csak kastélya könyvtárában, és a spalettákat bámulta. De most találkoznak, és kezdődhet a leszámolás. Mi történt akkor, azon a negyven évvel ezelőtti napon? Miféle halálos bűn követel most tisztázást?
A kérdések, szenvedélyek mögött egy halott: Krisztina, egyikőjük szeretett felesége. Hasonló szenvedély volt a két barát részéről akkor, ugyanezen nő iránt. Az egyik csalt és menekült, a másik maradt, de nem nyújtott kezet a bajban Krisztinának. Most mindketten szembesülnek az árulással. Most, amikor már elfogytak a gyertyák. Csonkig égnek.

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
