A GRUND - vígszínházi fiúzenekar 2017. május elsején alakult, a Vígszínház 121. születésnapján adta első koncertjét. A zenekar tagjai a Dés-Geszti-Grecsó: A Pál utcai fiúk című nagy sikerű zenés játék vígszínházi ősbemutatójának szereplői: Wunderlich József, Ember Márk, Zoltán Áron, és a zenekarvezető: Fesztbaum Béla. A dobok mögött ezen az estén a zenekar eddig "láthatatlan" hatodik tagja, Hajdu Gábor ül majd.
A zenekar egyre bővülő repertoárján helyet kap A Pál utcai fiúk számai mellett, több legendás vígszínházi sláger, jól ismert Presser dal és természetesen néhány kedvenc a hazai és a külföldi klasszikus rock világából.
Évek óta visszatérő vendégek a Kultkikötőben, 2023-ban a fesztivál zenei programjai közül a csapat koncertjére volt a legnagyobb az érdeklődés, így ők lettek a Kultkikötő Közönségdíj nyertesei!

Our offer
Pairing the two German composers, Wagner and the Wagnerian Strauss in a single evening creates a sweeping and overwhelming fusion of expansive melodies and driving dramatic force. The encounter between Wagner’s mythical intensity and Strauss’s modernism is a dialogue between two musical giants who reshaped not only German but also international musical life. In the performance of the OPERA Orchestra, their compositions promise deep emotions, dense musical textures, and sonic grandeur.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
