Jóllehet, ennél sokkal, de sokkal gazdagabb ez az operai tradíció, amint erről az utóbbi években Vashegyi Györgyék számos produkciója meggyőző bizonyságot adhatott. Most is neki, valamint a rangos és hazánkba visszajáró külföldi énekesgárdának köszönhetjük majd azt, hogy a francia romantikus opera rejtett kincseivel és gyöngyszemeivel megismerkedhetünk. Hiszen olyan, bizony még névről sem igen ismerős komponisták operarészletei fognak megszólalni ezen a gálán, mint Victorin de Joncières vagy a női zeneszerző Clémence de Grandval. S a gall zene tisztelt és általunk is ismert, vagy legalábbis ismerni vélt mesterei, így Massenet, Gounod, Saint-Saëns és Thomas operai életművéből is jószerint csupa olyan ária, duett és tercett hangzik majd fel, amelyet jó eséllyel épp most, e koncert révén fogunk fölfedezni magunk számára.

A Streetcar Named Desire is Marianna Venekei's first full-length choreography. The project, lovingly nurtured for many years, is a collaboration between her and composer-saxophonist László Dés.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
