Linda unja 17 éves házasságát, angol kertvárosi életét, a negyedik x közeledtét, de főleg a férjét, George-ot. Erről azonban a férfi nem akar tudomást venni, neki minden úgy jó, ahogy van. De amikor George elalszik szeretkezés közben, Lindának végképp elege lesz: úgy érzi, joga van még minőségi érzékiséghez, figyelemhez, szerelemhez, élethez. Válni akar.
Kamasz fiuk becsajozik, a szenilis nagypapa katonatörténeteket darál, a legjobb barátok elképesztő tanácsokat adnak, és a felfordulás közepén ott áll szegény George. Aki - némi rásegítéssel a bárszekrényből -, veszélyes útra lép: elhatározza, hogy megfiatalítja a házasságát. Mesterien megírt brit komédia az 1980-as évek világával, igazi sztárszereposztásban!
