A csütörtöki hölgyek

A csütörtöki hölgyek

Három idős, vérbeli párizsi hölgy, Sonia, Marie és Helene, csütörtök délutánonként együtt teázik. Mindez játékos, mozgalmas formában, hiszen a nők mindig szórakoztatóak. Igaz?

A csütörtöki hölgyek

Kószálok a városban, ábrándozom. Kis papírdarabkákra párbeszédfoszlányokat jegyzek fel. Soha nem gondolok ki nagy elméleteket. Én az érzéseimmel gondolkodom."

Our offer

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.

While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
