A Színházi Kritikusok Céhének tagjai legalább évi kilencven premier megtekintése után tölthetik ki szavazólapjaikat: tizenöt kategóriában az előző évad legjobb teljesítményeire voksolnak.

A szavazatszámlálók teljes titoktartás mellett csak a kategóriánként 3-3 legtöbb szavazatot begyűjtő nevet vagy címet teszik közzé, és csupán ezen az évadkezdő estén derül ki, kik nyerték el a Színikritikusok Díját. Ugyanitt veszi át díját a kritikusok életműdíjasa, valamint – újdonságként – a Színházi Dramaturgok Céhének kitüntetettje, akit az év legjobb új magyar drámájáért ismernek el.
A nyilvános gálaműsor helyszíne 2010 után ismét a Budapest Bábszínház, rendezője Novák Eszter, közreműködnek a Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem zenés színész növendékei és sokan mások.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
