Az Énekes madár című székely népi játék az emberi tisztaság és az igaz szerelem diadala az irigység, és a jót mindenáron elpusztítani akaró erők felett. Olyan tündérmese, melyben a humor, a könnyes kacagás, az édes évődés, a szárnyaló szerelem mögött fájdalmasan nevetséges, örök érvényű szánalmas emberi sorsok és cselekedetek rejtőznek.
A világ és az ember ma ugyanúgy működik, mint Tamási Áron 1933-ban írt művében, azzal a különbséggel, hogy itt a csodák meg is történnek. Talán velünk is.
