Allan Felix, a filmkritikus egy vergődő és szenvedő elhagyott férj. És amíg ő látványosan belemerül bánatába, addig barátai, Linda és Dick minduntalan azon fáradoznak, hogy Allan új társra leljen. És ezzel megkezdődik a szünet nélküli randevúk sora. De ahelyett, hogy belejönne, idegességében végül mindegyiket elbaltázza. This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
