Két, valaha szebb napokat látott Shakespeare-színész elhatározza, hogy Hollywood felé veszi az irányt, ehhez azonban pénzre van szükség. Egy újsághirdetés nyomán „Haldokló asszony keresi szeretteit. Irdatlan vagyon forog kockán.” elmennek a megadott címre, ám ott már segítők és jóakarók egész hada nyüzsög. Ráadásul kiderül: a keresett rokonok nők. Szerencsére a bőröndökben ott a teljes Shakespeare-ruhatár.
