A világhírű 100 Tagú Cigányzenekar a Margitszigeti Színházban ünnepli fennállásának 40. évfordulóját. A különleges esemény méltó összefoglalója lesz a zenekar eddigi, négy évtizedes pályafutásának, amely során a magyar cigányzene egyedi és magával ragadó hangzásvilága bejárta az egész világot.
A jubileumi koncert a zenekar legemlékezetesebb pillanatait eleveníti fel, miközben új, izgalmas műsorszámok is felcsendülnek. Ezen a felejthetetlen estén zenészek több generációja együtt varázsolja színpadra a cigányzene semmihez sem hasonlítható energiáját, szenvedélyét és életszeretetét. A Margitsziget gyönyörű, természetközeli környezete kivételes atmoszférát teremt a gálakoncerthez, ez az este egyszerre lesz nosztalgikus utazás és a cigányzene folyamatos megújulásának ünnepe.
