It was many years ago that the Pannon Philharmonic decided that the Valentine’s Day holiday and the grand tradition it spawned across the Atlantic deserves a place in the concert hall. The raves each show earned from the audience convinced the orchestra that presenting symphonic arrangements of songs by the biggest stars in the world is a real winner: quality popular music turbocharged with symphonic energy offers a euphoric experience for the performers and listeners alike, like that of feverish love.
