Miklós Benedek, the editor and director of the show, former member of the Katona József Theatre, Budapest and the National Theatre made his choice from evergreen works of Hungarian authors with exquisite sense of humour. The Budapest cabaret, this varied, always current genre is Benedek’s old, big favourite, so he picked and chose the best ones.

There are excerpts from the works of László Békeffi, Szilárd Darvas, László Demeter, Andor Gábor, Frigyes Karinthy, Dezső Kellér, Miklós László, Árpád Lőwy, Ferenc Molnár, Károly Nóti, Ernő Szép and László Vadnai in the cabaret show which invite you for a time travelling. The show carries you in the 1910s and 1920s, at the heyday of cabaret. The creators promise excellent entertainment, some music and lots of laughs – and we know they keep their words.
